2016 Lagoon 400 S2

The 2016 Lagoon 400 S2 is a 39-foot fiberglass catamaran designed for extended cruising. Powered by a single 40 hp Yanmar diesel engine with a three-blade folding propeller, the boat combines stability and efficiency in a wide 23.75-foot beam. Factory equipped with a square-top mainsail, Code 0 and asymmetric spinnaker with bowsprit and continuous line curler, plus a lazy bag and helm canvas, the catamaran is well-rigged for varied wind conditions.

Below deck, the owner's version provides four cabins and three heads, including a master cabin with television and bidet. Additional features include a 12V freezer, 100-liter refrigerator, cabin and salon fans, quiet flush electrical toilets, and a bow compartment berth. An electric windlass aids in anchoring operations.

The electrical system reflects a modern cruising setup: a 110 Ah lithium battery bank, 1650W solar panels, a 2000W inverter, a Cristec 40A shore power charger, and dual solar chargers. Navigation and communication equipment includes B&G Zeus 12-inch displays, 4G radar, AIS, autopilot, and VHF radio with handset. A 60 liters-per-hour watermaker supplies fresh water, and a Rocna 33 kg anchor with chain counter and remote helm control complete the ground tackle. The boat comes with an Achilles 310 dinghy featuring an aluminum floor and 15 hp Tohatsu outboard with electric start.
