The 2016 Lagoon 450 S is a spacious offshore catamaran built for extended blue-water cruising. At 46 feet with a 26-foot beam, it combines the stability and living space characteristic of the 450 S platform. The boat is powered by twin 114 hp Yanmar diesel engines and features a fiberglass hull.
The three-cabin layout is centred around a full-hull owner's suite with ample storage and a private head, complemented by two additional cabins and a total of three heads throughout. This configuration prioritizes comfort and practicality for long-term cruising. The yacht has been extensively cruised, including an ocean crossing from San Diego to French Polynesia and passage through the South Pacific.
The electrical system has been substantially upgraded with Victron components: a Battery Management System, a 3000W Victron inverter installed in 2025, and 840Ah Lifeline AGM house batteries also from 2025. Other recent work includes new saildrive seals, a 40 GPH CruiseRO watermaker, and updated galley appliances. Steering cables have been replaced with 7mm Dyneema, along with key running rigging. Lagoon bulkhead reinforcement was completed professionally in 2021. Escape hatches were rebedded with additional brackets. Maintenance is current, with antifoul, propeller service, and a complete hull and topsides polish finished in September 2025.
The boat carries a liferaft and downwind sail as part of its offshore-cruising package. All upgrades and structural work are documented with full reports and invoices.
