The 2016 Leopard 51 Powercat is a fiberglass catamaran built by Robertson and Caine, designed to combine the efficiency and comfort of a power yacht with thoughtful layout and modern equipment. Twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 700 horsepower power the 51-foot hull, which features a wide 25-foot beam that creates substantial interior volume and deck space. The design prioritizes exterior living with a large forward cockpit, aft cockpit, bow area, and an expansive flybridge offering excellent visibility and lounging capacity.
The accommodations include five cabins and five heads arranged in an open, ergonomic layout. The main saloon is large and naturally bright, while the galley is outfitted with modern appliances. The catamaran incorporates features typical of the Leopard range, including a hydraulic tender lift and swim platform. Twin Yammer engines, generator, and air conditioning systems support both fuel efficiency and onboard comfort.
The boat sustained hurricane damage and has undergone repairs completed according to the builder's guidelines. The current condition reflects the work done following that restoration.
