2016 Nautitech 40 Open

The Nautitech 40 Open is a cruising catamaran built to handle serious offshore passages under sail. This 2016 model measures 39.3 feet in length with a 22.7-foot beam and draws just 1.35 meters, giving it genuine range in shallow anchorages without sacrificing stability or seaworthiness. Two Volvo Penta diesel engines of 80 horsepower each provide auxiliary power.

The Open design defines the layout: a three-cabin arrangement with two heads flows from a light-filled saloon open to the sea and sky. The wide bridging structure between the hulls creates the characteristic sociable cockpit and cabin spaces that define the type.

The catamaran has been owned and carefully maintained by a single operator, with regular upkeep documented throughout its service history. The fiberglass construction is robust and the boat remains well-suited to extended voyaging or circumnavigation.
