2016 Ranger Tugs R-27

The 2016 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 30-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single 200 hp Volvo diesel engine. The design prioritizes accessible engine maintenance with nearly 50 square feet of protected aft deck space that keeps mechanical noise well away from the cabin. Standard bow and stern thrusters provide confident maneuvering, and the 8.5-foot beam allows for trailering capability.

The cabin layout combines cruising comfort with practical workspace. The forward V-berth spans over 6 feet 5 inches and accommodates two adults. Amidships, a convertible office space with desk and seat can transform into a two-person berth. The dinette table mounts on a hydraulic piston, allowing it to convert between dining and sleeping configurations or lounging positions. The galley features a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and a combination propane stove with oven. The head includes an electric flush toilet, glass vessel sink, and shower.

Standard equipment includes a windlass, pressure water system, water heater, generator, battery charger, vacuum flush head, and air conditioning with heating. Navigation and communication systems encompass GPS, chart plotter, radar, and VHF radio.
