2016 Ranger Tugs R-31

The 2016 Ranger Tugs R-31 is a 33-foot fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising while maintaining trailerable proportions. Powered by a Volvo D4 diesel engine producing 300 horsepower, the boat runs efficiently and has logged 874 hours. She carries a 5 kilowatt Cummins/Onan generator and is equipped with bow and stern thrusters with remote controls for confident handling in tight quarters.

The accommodations consist of two staterooms: a forward cabin with a large island berth and ensuite head, plus a midship stateroom with day head. The foredeck includes seating and a table that raises for entertaining and lowers for underway use. The cockpit features wraparound seating with hidden fold-out seats, and a starboard-side door from the helm provides direct deck access for line handling.

Navigation and electronics are comprehensive, including a Garmin 7616 display, 4 kilowatt HSX radar, depth and sonar, autopilot with remote, AIS 600, and VHF radio. Climate control includes two air conditioning and heating units plus a cabin heater. An extended hardtop covers the helm and cockpit areas. The anchor system comprises a windlass, 22-pound anchor, 50 feet of chain, and 200 feet of rode.

Additional equipment includes a 140-watt solar generator, newly installed AGM batteries and inverter/charger with Bluetooth connectivity, propane stove with dual tanks, cabin refrigerator, macerator with Y-valve, and a custom helm seat. The hull carries Hero Red Awlgrip paint.
