The 2016 Seawind 1250 is a 41-foot catamaran built for cruising comfort and performance in tropical waters. With a beam of 6.8 metres and draft of 1.16 metres, she combines spacious living with shallow-water capability. Twin Yanmar 3Y-30 diesel engines provide reliable power for maneuvering and motor-sailing, with approximately 300 hours on each. The hull is fibreglass with FRP decking, and she carries 480 litres of fuel and 700 litres of fresh water.
Accommodation comprises three cabins—two with queen berths and one with a double—providing six berths total across the boat. Two heads, two showers, and a full galley with a three-burner gas stove support extended cruising. A Spectra Physics Cape Horn water-maker with z-brane technology is fitted but has never been commissioned. The open-plan saloon features tri-folding doors that open the interior to the deck, creating flexible living space. A 3-metre dinghy with 15-horsepower Yamaha outboard and 8-man life raft are included.
Power systems include a 240/12V electrical setup with house batteries (6 months old) and 4 × 200-watt solar panels installed 3 months ago. Navigation and electronics include B&G autopilot and navigation package, VHF, AIS, and radar. An electric winch and manual winches support sail handling. New sails are currently being built to specification by Zoom. The original rigging was pre-rigged for a screacher, though one is not currently fitted. An electric windlass with ample chain completes the ground tackle.
The boat has been single-owner operated for 9.5 years with local cruising in Southeast Asian waters. Safety equipment includes EPIRB, life jackets for six, flares, fire protection, and two bilge pumps.
