2017 Amel 50

The Amel 50 is a 54-foot composite sailing yacht built in 2017, designed for extended cruising. Powered by a single Volvo Penta D3 diesel engine rated at 110 horsepower, it combines seaworthiness with comfortable ocean-going capability. The hull is sound with no gelcoat defects on deck, no grounding marks, and no structural issues reported.

The yacht is equipped with a Volvo Penta D3-110 engine showing approximately 1,540 hours of use as of August 2025, an 8-kilowatt Onan diesel generator with around 744 hours, and a 100-liter desalination system with dual 24/220V capability and approximately 132 hours recorded. These systems support sustained cruising and self-sufficiency at sea.

The boat has been actively cruised throughout the Mediterranean, with regular passages to Greece, Montenegro, Sardinia, and Corsica over multiple seasons.
