2017 Azimut 66

The 2017 Azimut 66 is a fiberglass flybridge motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines producing 1,150 horsepower each. With a cruising speed of 28 knots, direct shaft drive, and low engine hours (1,106 and 1,102 respectively), the boat delivers capable long-range performance. Fuel capacity of 1,030 gallons supports extended cruising, while a 21.5 kW Cummins generator provides independent power. Two spare propellers, prepped by Wilmington Propeller, are included.

The layout accommodates four cabins plus crew quarters, with three heads plus crew facilities. Fresh water capacity is 264 gallons and the holding tank holds 92 gallons. A Williams 325 jet tender with mounting brackets completes the package.

Significant upgrades enhance both capability and comfort. A Seakeeper 16 gyro stabilizer with flybridge control station reduces motion. Dual titanium AC chillers, installed in 2022, provide climate control throughout. Navigation and monitoring include a Raymarine Platinum package with video cameras on the engines, cockpit, and flybridge, plus a FLIR thermal imaging system. Bow and stern thrusters with dual Glendenning cable masters aid docking.

The accommodations feature teak on the flybridge and side decks, custom carpet throughout, wooden flooring in the salon and dinette, and marble in the master head. Twin Kenyon electric grills with a stove, refrigerator and freezer in stainless steel, and a wine cooler serve the galley. The flybridge includes an icemaker, refrigerator, lounge seating, coffee table, and electrically operated Bimini top. An American bar with leather and stainless steel stools anchors the port dinette. Entertainment comprises a full AV package with Samsung televisions and exterior Fusion stereo in three zones with upgraded JL speakers. Additional features include central vacuum, luxury lighting, an electrical frosting crystal divider, and custom Azimut china and glassware.
