2017 Back Cove Downeast 37

This 2017 Back Cove Downeast 37 is a single-engine diesel cruiser built with a fiberglass hull finished in Flag Blue. The boat is powered by a Cummins diesel engine rated at 600 hp, giving it a cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 28 knots. The engine has just 183 hours of use. The hull and topsides received fresh Awlgrip paint in 2023–2024, and the bottom was repainted with Interprotect in the same period.

The interior includes a single cabin with one head. The boat has new Isinglass rear enclosure with side windows installed in 2026. Battery banks were renewed in May 2026 with two 4D AGM units and three 31-series AGM units. Engine and generator oil and filters were serviced in May 2026, with oil samples sent for analysis prior to the change.

This boat has been kept in heated, freshwater storage throughout its life in the northern climate. The low engine hours and recent maintenance history reflect careful ownership and limited use.
