This 2017 Beneteau Oceanis 48 is a 47-foot cruising sailboat built for long-distance ocean passage and comfortable living aboard. Powered by an 80-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine, she cruises at 7.2 knots and reaches 9 knots under power, with sail handling optimized for short-handed operation through electrically-driven primary winches and aft-led controls. The yacht carries substantial ground tackle including a 73-pound Rocna anchor with 150 feet of chain, a 12-volt electric windlass, and a backup 55-pound Delta anchor.

The boat accommodates a family across four cabins and four heads. The interior features custom memory foam mattress toppers with European linens, custom air ventilation systems, and newly upholstered cabin spaces. All-new running rigging with Dyneema core and fresh canvas—including a new mainsail, dodger, and bimini—were completed in 2025. A lithium battery bank of 1,780 amp-hours, paired with 1,900 watts of solar panels mounted on a custom arch, powers the boat's systems. Additional equipment includes a watermaker, Starlink connectivity, a bow thruster, and a new autopilot computer and motor.

The cockpit spans the full beam with twin helm stations, a centerline table with stowage, and abundant locker space. An electrically-controlled transom folds down to create a swim platform with teak decking and a stainless steel swim ladder. A cockpit shower, bimini, and dodger with added eisenglass windows complete the stern area. The foredeck is clean and functional, featuring a large sail locker and dedicated anchor gear storage.

A recent $150,000 refit brought the boat to offshore-ready condition, including haul-out with fresh bottom paint, rudder bearing replacement, full steering system overhaul, saildrive service, and new safety equipment throughout. The package includes a new 11-foot AB RIB tender with 15-horsepower Yamaha outboard, a comprehensive tool kit for mechanical service, and extensive spares and safety gear. The yacht is Coast Guard documented and carries current offshore equipment certifications.
