2017 Commander 27

This 2017 Commander 27 is a fiberglass cruiser built by Bracewell Marine with a single cabin and head. The boat was re-powered in September 2025 with a new Volvo Penta D4-320 hp diesel engine paired with twin stainless steel duo-prop legs, delivering a comfortable 20-knot cruise speed with a maximum of 25 knots. The engine has approximately 30 hours of running time.

Accommodations include a main cabin with galley and sleeping quarters, along with a full head. The yacht features both upper and lower helm stations with full controls, and the cockpit is fully enclosed with canvas. Upper canvas bimini is also fitted for weather protection.

Equipment is comprehensive and modern. The boat carries a Maxpower bow thruster, 3.5 kW Whisper Power genset, and Maxwell RC 8 windlass with 10 kg Rocna primary anchor, 85 feet of 5/16-inch Titan chain, and 165 feet of 5/8-inch rode. Navigation and automation systems include Garmin autopilot, Garmin radar, Em-Trak AIS Class B transceiver, and BARNKL system monitoring. An Espar D4 forced air diesel furnace provides cabin heating, while a Dickinson Mediterranean LPG three-burner cooktop with oven (never used) handles galley duties. A Highfield UL240 aluminum-hulled RIB tender with 6 hp Suzuki four-stroke is included.
