2017 Custom Stubbs Aluminum 60 ' Custom Trawler

This 60-foot aluminum trawler was originally designed by John Stubbs and launched in 1971, then purchased and comprehensively rebuilt between 2004 and 2017. The hull's aluminum construction provides structural strength and durability favored by offshore operators. In 2017, the boat received a complete overhaul including repowering with a Volvo Penta D9 diesel engine producing 425 horsepower, paired with a single shaft drive. The engine has 1,600 hours.

The boat offers extensive deck space with a 20-foot forward deck and a sheltered aft deck, plus a flybridge accessible by easy stairs. The wheelhouse features a mahogany chart table suited for serious navigation. Below deck, accommodations include three cabins and two heads with berths for eight. The interior showcases teak and mahogany woodwork throughout, with a large galley featuring electric range, two refrigerators, freezer, dishwasher, and oven.

Systems aboard include dual Kohler generators (32kW and 10kW), extensive air conditioning with five units totaling 64,000 BTU, solar power, a watermaker producing 1,500 gallons per day, a 2,500-watt inverter, and a 20-gallon water heater. The boat carries 1,750 gallons of fuel, 300 gallons of fresh water, and 150 gallons of holding tank capacity. A hydraulic windlass, 20-horsepower bow thruster, and hydraulic dinghy crane are installed. Washer and dryer are aboard, along with a 13.3-foot Boston Whaler SuperSport dinghy included with the boat.
