This 2017 Dusky 16 Custom is a one-of-a-kind shallow-water flats boat built on a modified Dusky hull with a custom R&R Boatworks hardtop. The boat poles in 6 to 7 inches of water and reaches a top speed of 37 mph, powered by a 2023 Mercury 60R four-stroke with 260 hours and factory warranty through August 2027.
The boat underwent a complete refit in August 2025, including full rewiring and new plumbing throughout. A Garmin 1243 XSV chartplotter, Lenco trim tabs, and Mercury 5-inch Vessel View screen provide navigation and control. The console features an Edson steering wheel, and the boat is pre-wired for a trolling motor. Lumitec lighting runs throughout the cabin and deck.
Entertainment and audio equipment includes four JL Audio 7.7 speakers and two JL Audio 10-inch subwoofers. A casting platform forward provides workspace for anglers, and a 21-foot carbon fiber push pole is included. All hatches operate on friction hinges. The boat rides on a custom Ramlin trailer and comes with two propellers.
The boat is currently undergoing repainting in a dark grey two-tone with white non-skid finish.
