2017 Knysna 500SE Speacial Addition

This 50-foot fiberglass catamaran was built by Knysna Yacht Co in 2017 to a design by Angelo Lavranos. The hull combines proven seaworthy lines with modern refinement, delivering strong ocean-crossing capability alongside comfortable cruising. Twin Yanmar diesel engines rated at 114 hp each power the boat through Yanmar legs fitted with Brunton autoprops, supported by dual cooling water traps and fire suppression in each engine room.

The three-cabin layout sleeps multiple guests across a well-appointed interior. Three heads serve the accommodations. The broader beam and increased buoyancy compared to earlier models in the range allow for generous platform space and support modern systems including air conditioning, enhanced refrigeration, and comprehensive navigation and communications equipment.

Both engine rooms are in good condition. The engines carry 800 hours of total runtime and have been serviced on schedule with records on file. They remain under warranty.
