2017 Lagoon 40

The 2017 Lagoon 40 is a dual-hull catamaran powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 220 horsepower combined. Built on a fiberglass hull measuring just over 41 feet in length with a 22-foot beam, this boat delivers the wide stance and stability characteristic of the catamaran design. She cruises at approximately 5 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 7 knots, with electronic steering, a bow thruster, and twin engines making maneuvering straightforward.

Accommodation comprises five cabins and two heads arranged across the twin hulls. The layout includes an owner's suite, two additional cabins in the starboard hull, and two smaller bow cabins suitable for crew. A spacious saloon serves as the central living area, fitted with a teak deck, two 100-liter refrigerators, an oven, and an electric toilet system. The exterior features loungers on the saloon roof, wooden-seat bow pulpits, and a bathing ladder with outside shower.

Systems and equipment include a 2,000-watt inverter, solar panels, electronic engine controls, and a B&G 16-inch chart plotter at the helm. Interior amenities encompass a Fusion sound system with speakers in both saloon and cockpit, fans throughout, and USB sockets in the cabins. A dinghy with a 6 hp outboard is included. Fuel capacity stands at 800 liters total across two tanks, with freshwater storage of 700 liters.
