2017 Lagoon 42

The 2017 Lagoon 42 is a modern catamaran built for comfortable cruising. At just over 42 feet with a 25-foot beam, the hull combines fiberglass construction with a proven design. Twin Yammer diesel engines of 57 horsepower each provide propulsion, and the boat is equipped with a bow thruster for maneuvering. Self-tacking jib and winches make sail handling straightforward. At 4200 engine hours, the power plant remains well-maintained.

The layout includes four double cabins and four bathrooms, plus two crew cabins, offering flexible accommodation for extended voyages or charter use. The saloon opens to outdoor deck areas, creating connected living spaces. The galley comes outfitted with a barbecue, microwave, and water maker. Air conditioning and heating keep interiors comfortable in all conditions.

Systems throughout are comprehensive. An Onan generator with 5400 hours supports the onboard infrastructure. Electrical power flows through an inverter and battery charger, with battery banks sized for cruising. The boat carries a holding tank and bow thruster. Navigation relies on a B&G suite including VHF radio, radar, GPS chart plotter, and autopilot.

Deck features include solar panels, windlass, gangway, bimini top, and swimming ladder. A Fusion sound system and salon television provide entertainment. A tender with Yamaha outboard is included, rounding out the equipment package.
