This 2017 Lagoon 42 catamaran brings together thoughtful design and practical cruising layout. The four-cabin, four-head configuration accommodates up to eight people, with each cabin fitted with custom bedding. Two Yanmar diesel engines of 114 horsepower each power the 42-foot hull, supported by a generator for extended cruising. Solar panels and a water-maker complement the systems for self-sufficient voyaging.
The deck design centers on an ergonomic helm station positioned at the coachroof bulkhead, facilitating easy communication between cockpit and saloon. A self-tacking jib paired with the classic mainsail—fitted with lazy bag and electric winches—keeps sail handling straightforward. The cockpit flows seamlessly to the aft platform via suspended transom steps, creating one continuous living space. A large glazed door spans the coachroof width, opening the interior to the cockpit and saloon. A composite bimini with sliding panel covers the helm.
The galley is fully appointed with a microwave, coffee machine, oven, cooker, grill, refrigerator, and water-maker. Heating and air conditioning maintain comfort throughout. The saloon and cockpit each have GPS plotters, while the flybridge is outfitted with audio speakers. Additional speakers are placed topside.
Recent upgrades installed in 2025 include new electronics, a LiFePo house battery bank, Victron power management systems, a new mainsail, updated instrumentation, and new standing rigging.
