2017 Lagoon 42

This 2017 Lagoon 42 catamaran features twin Yammer diesel engines producing 57 horsepower each, with fixed three-blade propellers. The fiberglass hull spans 42 feet with a 25-foot beam, delivering the spacious platform Lagoon 42s are known for. The boat comes equipped with comprehensive cruising electronics including Raymarine chartplotter, autopilot, AIS transceiver, and radar, supported by a full suite of safety gear including a 65-pound Rocna anchor, EPIRB, and handheld VHF radios.

Below deck, the four-cabin layout accommodates extended cruising with four heads and generous galley facilities. A refrigerator and freezer in the galley are supplemented by an additional cockpit fridge, while a single saloon air conditioner provides climate control. Power systems include 2,000 watts of solar panels paired with a Victron setup, a 3,000-watt inverter, and a washer/dryer installed in 2022. Freshwater capacity benefits from a 26-gallon-per-hour Desalator watermaker added in 2023.

The helm station occupies the coach roof bulkhead with a hard-top Bimini featuring a sliding panel for clear sight lines. A composite bimini with closure panel provides weather and safety protection while underway. The single-level cockpit flows to a wide aft platform with suspended transom steps. The Fusion stereo system reaches speakers in the cockpit, bow, and saloon.

Recent maintenance includes lithium battery installation (1,200 amp-hours) in 2022 and saildrive seal service scheduled for July 2025. Engine hours stand at approximately 3,374 and 3,377 on the starboard and port motors respectively. The boat includes 220-volt 50-hertz shore power compatibility for international cruising.
