2017 Lagoon 450 F

The 2017 Lagoon 450 F is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising. Twin 114 hp Yanmar diesel engines deliver a cruising speed of 9 knots and a top speed of 10 knots. The boat features a three-cabin owner's layout with a flybridge, extended transoms, and a hydraulic tender lift integrated with a swim platform. The hull carries a custom high-gloss pigeon blue finish.

Power and energy systems are substantial. The boat runs on Victron lithium batteries paired with a large solar array and a hydro generator for off-grid capability. A diesel generator and watermaker support extended passages, along with ample fuel and water tankage. Communications include three satellite systems—KVH, Iridium, and Starlink—plus a cell booster for global connectivity.

Recent major work has been completed: the sail drives and transmission were replaced new in 2025. The bulkhead reinforcement, a known issue on early 450s, was professionally addressed by a Lagoon-certified service center. The boat has been privately owned and professionally maintained throughout its life, with documented service records available.
