The 2017 Nautitech 46 Fly is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard. Her standout feature is the expansive flybridge, fitted with seating for 10, a dining table, a sun lounge, and Bimini cover—creating an excellent outdoor entertaining space. The deck layout prioritizes openness and flow, supported by four separate lounging areas throughout the yacht.
Below, the galley-up design serves four private cabins, each with its own electric toilet, plus two stand-alone showers. This arrangement suits long-term cruising and liveaboard schedules. The sailing plan is straightforward and manageable: three electric winches, in-mast furling mainsail with all lines led back to the cockpit, a 5.5-foot bowsprit carrying a Code Zero on continuous-line furler, and additional port and starboard winches for flexibility under sail.
Power comes from twin 100-horsepower Volvo diesel engines. Cruising systems are comprehensive: 950 watts of solar panels, 1,200 amp hours of Relion lithium batteries, a 12-volt Spectra watermaker, washing machine, and Starlink satellite internet. A 9,000-watt Onan generator provides backup power. Ground tackle includes a Rocna anchor with new chain added in 2024.
Recent updates include new Volvo D50 engines, new furling mainsail, and new genoa—all completed in 2023. The yacht is configured and equipped for extended offshore cruising.
