2017 Northwest 28

This 2017 Northwest 28 is an aluminum fishing boat built for serious offshore work and extended cruising. The pilothouse design provides protection and comfort for long days on the water, while the aluminum hull offers durability across the demanding West Coast environment.

Twin Yamaha outboards power the boat—a 300 hp main engine with 850 hours of use and a 25 hp kicker for trolling. Both can be controlled from the aft helm, and the large 475-litre fuel tank supports cruising at 30 mph with excellent range. The boat reaches 35 mph at top speed. A Raymarine electronics package handles navigation and situational awareness.

The cabin accommodates overnight trips with a V-berth, galley table, 12V DC fridge, coffee maker, and diesel heating for cold-weather operation. LED lights throughout provide modern cabin lighting, and storage is arranged throughout for gear organization. The exterior features a slate-grey wrap applied recently.

The boat comes with a twin-axle trailer and holds a transferable commercial C-number attached to the hull.
