2017 Ranger Tugs R-29 CB

The 2017 Ranger Tugs R-29 Command Bridge is a 29-foot fiberglass trawler built for comfortable cruising on open water. Powered by a Volvo Penta D4 diesel producing 260 horsepower with just 675 engine hours, it cruises efficiently at 15–20 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 24 knots. The hull features a foam-filled fiberglass construction with a vinylester barrier coat and has been wrapped in a 3M clear protective coating with ceramic finish. The boat's lightweight design and shallow 30-inch draft make it suitable for diverse waters.

The Command Bridge layout provides excellent visibility and entertaining space, with seating for four, full helm controls, and a table. The enclosed cabin contains a forward stateroom with an island berth, a midship sleeping area, a fully equipped galley with offset design for clear walkway, an enclosed head with shower, and a spacious salon. The cockpit features extensive seating for seven or more, a hard-top with hatches and lights, a refrigerator, and a transom entry door. A Highfield 290 dinghy with Yamaha F6 outboard is mounted on Weaver davits with stand-off and winch.

Electronics include a complete Garmin navigation suite with dual 12-inch screens, broadband radar, autopilot with remote, and color engine display with digital fuel flow data. Bow and stern thrusters operate via wireless remote, and a 22-pound anchor with 50 feet of chain and 200 feet of line are included. The diesel heating system, 175-watt solar panel with controller, inverter, and substantial house battery bank support extended cruising. Additional features include a multi-zone Fusion stereo system, underwater lights, electric windlass, electric trim tabs, and a washdown system. The 145-gallon fuel capacity and efficient diesel engine support long-range voyaging.
