The 2017 Sea Ray Sundancer 510 is a 50-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Cummins QSC 550 diesel engines with Zeus pod drives and joystick control. The engines carry approximately 430 original hours and performed well during sea trials across multiple load ranges with excellent temperatures and RPM performance recorded.
The layout combines a climate-controlled enclosed helm deck with the cockpit through retractable glass doors and opening windows, creating a single continuous entertaining area. The boat accommodates two heads and provides substantial indoor and outdoor entertaining space while maintaining the volume and comfort of a true cruising yacht.
Significant mechanical services were completed in late 2025, including major pod and transmission service, steering actuator seal replacement, full engine and drive service, hydraulic system service, new Cummins aftercoolers, resealed heat exchangers, new thermostats, raw water hose replacement, fluid services, zincs, and filter replacements. Oil analysis was performed, coolant was replaced, and extensive sea trials confirmed proper operating temperatures and performance. Bottom paint was also applied in 2025.
