The 2018 Albemarle 29 Express is a fiberglass sportfish designed for serious offshore work. Twin Yamaha F300 engines—recently installed in 2025 with 116 hours of service—deliver 600 horsepower and fuel efficiency alongside the boat's proven seaworthiness in rough conditions. The hull is engineered to punch through head seas and land softly in troughs, keeping the windshield clear and dry. Joystick control is fitted to the helm.
The layout centers on a modern helm with forward-facing seating for three and mezzanine-style seating aft. A full galley, stand-up head, and forward bunks provide comfortable overnight accommodations for a crew of four. Fishing amenities include large in-deck macerated fishboxes, a transom livewell, tackle center, and standard transom door.
Recent upgrades have been extensive: new full enclosure and cushions installed in 2025, five new 27M-XHD Interstate batteries in 2024, macerator pumps replaced in 2024, a new MASE generator fitted in 2022, and Aqua Traction replaced. Navigation and entertainment systems include a new Simrad GPS at the upper station (2025), marine-grade smart television (2024), and Starlink (2024). Service records are available.
