The Scout 288 LXF is a 28.75-foot composite sportfish built for serious fishing and cruising. Twin 300 hp Mercury Verado V8 engines power the boat, with joystick control and electric steering with autopilot managing helm operations. Equipment includes a Garmin 9219 chartplotter with GT12M transducer, GMR 18 XHD radar, 115 VHF radio, and JL Audio system with eight 7.7-inch speakers, 10-inch subwoofer, and dual amplifiers. Navigation and helm comfort are enhanced by a black Edson steering wheel, dual wireless phone chargers, and a Lumitec light bar.

The layout centers on a full-beam transom swim platform with Esthec matting, port-side swing-in dive door, and side boarding ladder for water access.
