The Scout 288 LXF is a 28.75-foot composite sportfish built for serious fishing and cruising. Twin 300 hp Mercury Verado V8 engines power the boat, with joystick control and electric steering with autopilot managing helm operations. Equipment includes a Garmin 9219 chartplotter with GT12M transducer, GMR 18 XHD radar, 115 VHF radio, and JL Audio system with eight 7.7-inch speakers, 10-inch subwoofer, and dual amplifiers. Navigation and helm comfort are enhanced by a black Edson steering wheel, dual wireless phone chargers, and a Lumitec light bar.
The layout centers on a full-beam transom swim platform with Esthec matting, port-side swing-in dive door, and side boarding ladder for water access. Forward seating with backrests and storage occupies the bow. The cabin includes one head. A carbon fiber hardtop with frameless windshield and integrated frame sits atop the boat, finished in the Midnight package with blacked-out rocket launchers, hardtop, rub rails, and antennas.
The leaning post features a bait preparation station with sink, tackle drawers, trash can, and a 45-quart cooler. Two LED underwater lights from Lumishore illuminate the hull, and bow rod holders and cupholders support active fishing. Additional features include Fender Pros for simplified docking, overboard waste discharge, and the Bianca cushion upholstery package in Alpine Gray hull.
