2018 Carver C40

This 2018 Carver C40 is a 40-foot fiberglass flybridge cruiser built for comfortable coastal and extended cruising. Twin Cummins QSB 380 HP diesel engines with V-drive propulsion deliver up to 27 knots and cruise at 22 knots, while a bow thruster and Cummins joystick docking system provide responsive maneuvering. The engines show 185 original hours, and the Kohler generator has 59 hours.

The command bridge is expansive, with guest seating, a sun pad, hardtop enclosure with Strataglass, and excellent sightlines. Full-width opening glass doors connect the aft cockpit to the salon, creating an open living space. The salon and linear galley flow together with a large walk-in storage compartment built into the galley sole. Two private cabins and two heads provide sleeping and bathing facilities; the guest stateroom converts between a queen and twin berths, and the salon dinette converts into an additional berth.

Equipment includes a full Garmin suite with chartplotter, radar, autopilot, and VHF radio, air conditioning and heating throughout, underwater lights, and an electric stern davit system. A tender with Yamaha outboard is included. The boat has extensive storage in the galley and stern areas.
