This 2018 Custom COAST 50 is a 50-foot aluminum catamaran designed by Philippe Renaudeau for comfortable ocean cruising with a small crew. The hull form and rigging—including furling Genoa, genneker, and mainsail, plus lifting keels that retract fully into the hulls—support safe passagemaking in varied conditions. Twin 100 hp Beta Marine Kubota diesel engines provide propulsion.
The boat centers on a wide, open-plan salon with a navigation station and oversized chart table to port, and a U-shaped galley to starboard equipped with double stainless steel sink, oven, four-burner hob with grill, and refrigerator and freezer. Seating spans the salon width. A large, covered cockpit with protected helm stations runs the length of the bridgedeck, and the roof includes an integrated rainwater collection system with pre-filters feeding the water tanks.
The starboard hull is devoted to the owner, with a queen-sized bed, couch berth, work station, and ensuite bathroom featuring an electric toilet and walk-in shower. The port hull contains two guest cabins sharing a bathroom, with flexible layout for extra stowage. The boat carries three air conditioning units, an 11 kw generator, and a 60-liter-per-hour watermaker.
