2015 Leopard 48

The 2015 Leopard 48 is a fiberglass sailing catamaran designed by Simonis & Voogd and built by Robertson & Caine in Cape Town. This Owner's Version model combines the dual-hull stability and spacious layout the Leopard brand is known for with thoughtful cruising systems. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 hp each deliver a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots, supported by a 48-foot length and 25-foot beam.

The owner's layout dedicates the entire starboard hull to a master suite, while the port hull houses guest accommodations. The interior emphasizes open, connected spaces with a bright panoramic salon and direct access to both the forward and aft cockpit areas. Exterior living includes a signature forward cockpit seating area and an expansive aft deck.

Systems aboard include a substantial solar array paired with a Victron lithium battery system, a watermaker for freshwater generation, and modern navigation electronics with onboard connectivity.
