2018 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Catamaran

The Astrea 42 is a 2018 Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran built in fiberglass. At 41 feet in length and nearly 24 feet wide, the hull incorporates the builder's signature inverted bow design, which balances visual elegance with interior volume. Two 80-horsepower diesel engines power the boat. The broad beam and catamaran form create a stable platform and generous deck space throughout.

The interior is organized around flowing circulation from the helm station through the main living area and into the cockpit. The coachroof holds a double-seat helm position and an integrated sun lounger. Below, a large lounge is ringed with panoramic windows that flood the cabin with natural light. The galley, positioned to interface directly with the cockpit via a sliding pocket door, serves the main living space. The boat sleeps four in four separate cabins and has four heads.

The cockpit is expansive and designed for outdoor living, with the option of an integrated plancha grill. A Beach Club option provides a flush gangway embedded into the transom line. The layout prioritizes movement and sight lines between helm, interior, and outdoor relaxation zones, making the boat equally comfortable for couple cruising or traveling with family and guests.
