2018 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 Catamaran

This 2018 Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 is a four-cabin, four-head catamaran built for cruising. The fiberglass hull spans nearly 40 feet in length with a 22.67-foot beam, providing the stability and volume characteristic of the design. Twin Volvo Penta diesel engines of 40 horsepower each power the boat.

The layout includes four sleeping cabins and four heads throughout the hull. The main saloon features a convertible table that can transform into a bed, and the starboard hull section includes additional cabin configuration. The cockpit is outfitted with a Bimini top, polyester dining table, cushioned seating, and Swedish-style chairs. Interior amenities include galley equipment with a gas oven, curtains in the saloon, and six ventilation fans.

The boat carries substantial cruising equipment: a Garmin electronics package, a 60-liter low-consumption water maker, electric windlass with chain counter at the helm station, refrigeration, four electric toilets, and a 150-amp battery bank. Solar power comes from 400 watts of panels. A tender with outboard motor is included. New sails will be needed before use.
