This 2018 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 is a three-cabin, three-head catamaran built in fiberglass. The owner's version dedicates the entire starboard hull to a private suite, complete with double bed, ensuite, office area, and storage. Two additional guest cabins occupy the port hull, each with double beds and ensuite facilities. The main saloon seats eight at the dining table and six on the sofa, with a chart table integrated into the layout.
Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D1-30 diesel engines producing 30 horsepower each, with saildrive and three-blade folding propellers. The boat carries 300 liters of fuel and 530 liters of fresh water, with a 45-liter holding tank. Sails include a fully battened mainsail, furling genoa, and 105-square-meter gennaker on a bowsprit, managed by three manual winches and one electric winch.
Energy independence is built in through 1050 watts of solar panels, 360-amp-hour lithium batteries, and a complete Victron Energy system installed in 2025. Navigation is handled by a Garmin GPSMAP 8410 chartplotter, autopilot, and VHF with AIS. The galley is fully equipped with gas stove, multiple refrigeration, pressurized water, and appliances. Deck amenities include an electric windlass, trampoline, sunbathing areas, and a Highfield tender with electric Torqeedo engine.
Recent work through 2024–2025 includes full engine servicing, new antifouling, propeller maintenance, new anodes, cushions, bimini, lazybag, upgraded mattresses, and interior lighting. The engines show 3,000 hours of service. A liferaft for ten persons was inspected in April 2025.
