The Kiel Classic 44 HT is a German-built motor yacht designed for serious passage-making without compromise. Her deep-V hull cuts through seaways rather than riding over them, delivering a combination of speed and comfort that works in all conditions. Twin Volvo Penta D6-440 diesel engines, fitted new in 2021, push the boat to 36 knots top speed and cruise comfortably between 28 knots, while joystick control and a bow thruster make handling straightforward regardless of berth size. A SEAkeeper 3 gyrostabiliser manages motion offshore and at anchor, and Dynamic Positioning System with docking software takes the stress from arrivals.
The hardtop saloon is bright and purposeful, with panoramic windows framing the water and a commanding helm station fitted with pneumatic, adjustable seats for skipper and co-pilot. A retractable glass roof with integrated solar panels tops the space, paired with retractable side and aft window shields for privacy and climate control. To port sits a generous dining and seating area with quality wood cabinetry and a hydraulic table that converts to a lounge sofa. The galley to starboard flows openly into the saloon and includes an induction hob, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, and substantial storage. The cockpit sits protected beneath the hardtop with LED lighting and retractable sunshades; a foldable aft glass door and retractable bathing ladder provide direct access to the swim platform.
Forward, the master cabin holds a large V-berth with high-quality mattress and custom cabinetry, supported by dedicated ventilation and acoustic insulation. The guest cabin aft features bunk beds and integrated storage for two. A single head includes an electric toilet, separate shower, and proper lighting and ventilation. The electric anchor windlass in the bow locker operates remotely from the helm and sits tethered to 35 metres of stainless steel chain.
This yacht has remained with its first owner since delivery, maintained throughout by specialist service and wintered in a heated hall each year from September through May. The engines were replaced new in 2021. The boat is ready to use as delivered.
