2008 Hinckley Talaria 44

The 2008 Hinckley Talaria 44 is a composite-hulled motor yacht with twin Yanmar 480-hp diesel engines and Hamilton 322 waterjets, delivering a 26-knot cruising speed. The boat features Hinckley's proprietary JetStick control system, which integrates steering, throttle, and a 10-inch electric bow thruster for responsive handling. Hull construction combines Kevlar and carbon fiber skins with aircraft-grade balsa core and Vinylester resin. Topside paint was refreshed in 2014, while the teak deck retains tapered toe rails with varnished trim, teak eyebrows around the cabin top, and stainless steel handrails throughout.

The pilothouse centers the accommodations, with a helm station to starboard and navigator's seat to port, both in Ultraleather, flanking an L-shaped settee. Cherry woodwork, glass windows that open, and eight overhead hatches provide natural light and ventilation. Forward of the pilothouse lies a galley to port with cherry cabinetry, a Miele two-burner stove, convection microwave, drawer-style refrigerator, and freezer. The opposite settee converts from dining table to berth. A separate head with shower compartment serves both spaces, accessible also from the forward master cabin.

The master stateroom houses a centerline queen berth with hanging lockers and storage beneath, plus private access to the head. Aft of the pilothouse, the cockpit features a teak table, custom stern seating, and a swim platform with stainless steel ladder. Raymarine electronics include a 12-inch E120 chartplotter, 4-kW radar, fishfinder, and ST6001+ autopilot. The electrical system underwent recent battery replacement in 2025, with dual alternators, a 13.5-kW Onan generator, and Mastervolt inverter-charger. Dual 150-gallon wing tanks and a 200-gallon centerline tank supply the engines and a 100-gallon freshwater tank, while a 43-gallon holding tank connects to macerator discharge.
