Paradise is a 2018 Lagoon 42 catamaran built in fiberglass with two 112 hp Yanmar diesel engines. The boat offers the model's hallmark wide beam and efficient layout, designed for comfortable cruising and extended time at anchor. The three-cabin configuration provides spacious accommodations with a well-appointed owner's layout, generous helm station, and broad cockpit.
The boat is equipped for self-sufficient cruising. Power systems include a 13.5 kVA Onan generator, a 2,220Ah Lithionics lithium battery bank, and a 2,188W solar array paired with dual 3000W Victron inverters. Climate control comes from two Dometic reverse-cycle air conditioning units installed in 2023 and one additional unit from 2026, with corresponding heat capability. An 18 gph watermaker supports extended passages.
Additional equipment reflects a well-maintained, active cruising setup. The rig carries North Sails mainnail with full battens, a North Sails spinnaker, a Doyle Code 0, and a self-tacking jib installed in 2025. An AB RIB dinghy with a 20 hp Honda outboard engine (both 2025) are included, along with a Bauer Jr. scuba compressor and underwater blue and white lights. The trampoline was replaced in 2025, and bottom paint was refreshed in 2025. A Splendide washer/dryer operates on 110V. Dyneema lifelines and a new mainsail with full battens are fitted. Original fixed propellers are installed; feathering Max-Props are included but not mounted.
