This 2018 Leopard 45 is a fiberglass catamaran designed by Simonis & Voogd Yacht Design and built by Robertson & Caine. Powered by twin 90-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines, she measures 45 feet in length with a 24-foot beam. The design is recognized for its distinctive full-length saloon skylight and signature forward cockpit that flows into the saloon, featuring comfortable seating, a table, and sunbathing area. The boat was built as an owner's version and has not been chartered.
Accommodation comprises three cabins and three heads. The saloon is bright and open thanks to the expansive skylight. Equipment includes a 9kW Northern Lights generator, air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and 110-volt wiring. Power management features 300-amp lithium-ion batteries with professional installation, a Victron multiplus 3000 charger inverter, and six solar soft panels plus two LG hard panels. Water production is handled by a Spectra Newport 400 water maker.
Navigation and communication systems include Raymarine AIS 700, Iridium Go, and Starlink satellite capabilities. The boat carries a Highfield CL 340 rigid inflatable tender with a 20-horsepower Yamaha engine, kayak, stand-up paddleboards, fishing gear, and four scuba tanks with two sets of dive equipment. Sails are new Doyle canvas from 2024, with an Istec Parasailor and Brunton folding propellers fitted.
Recent maintenance includes engine and generator services, air-conditioning service, antifouling application, sail drive servicing, a new rudder bearing installed in the starboard rudder, a new dinghy winch, waxing, and stainless steel polishing.
