2018 Nautitech 46 Open

This 2018 Nautitech 46 Open is a composite catamaran powered by two Volvo diesel engines of 50 horsepower each. The engines have been serviced with new saildrive seals, and come with three-blade propellers and dual 300-litre fuel tanks. The boat is equipped for cruising and anchoring with a primary Rocna anchor, secondary anchor, new windlass with wireless and helm controls, and 80 metres of primary chain along with 60 metres of secondary chain.

The layout comprises four spacious double cabins and four heads spread across both hulls. Forward cabins on each side feature double berths with hanging lockers, drawers, and sealed storage, opening portholes, and indirect lighting with reading lights. The aft cabins are larger and brightly lit with panoramic portholes, side openings, and generous shelving and hanging space. The saloon is generous with a chart table, settee, and six ventilation fans. The galley includes two refrigerators, a conservator, a three-burner gas cooker with oven, two gas bottles, a stainless double sink, and a microwave. Two separate enclosed showers serve the accommodation. Webasto heating warms the saloon and cabins.

The sailing inventory includes a fully battened mainsail, self-tacking genoa with lazy jack and new lazy bag, and a 130-square-metre gennaker fitted with a new boom and new 4500 FX furler. Main and genoa controls lead to electric winches on the helm station. Electronics centre on a B&G navigation system with chartplotter, log, echo sounder, wind instrument, VHF, AIS reception, radar, autopilot with hydraulic ram, and compass. A Fusion stereo with Bluetooth and USB feeds two interior and two exterior speakers, and a television is installed. Solar panels and a Victron 350-watt converter support the electrical system, with underwater and courtesy lighting. Fresh water storage is 600 litres total, backed by an Aquabase 100-litre desalinator.

The cockpit is large with integrated table, dedicated refrigerator, bimini hardtop, and full canvas protection. Deck amenities include electric winches for main and genoa, stern and deck showers, a boarding ladder, lifelines, and a rigid Highfield dinghy with 6-horsepower Honda outboard. Fenders and mooring lines are included.
