The Nord Star 28 Patrol is a Finnish-built express cruiser designed for Pacific Northwest waters. This 28-foot fiberglass boat combines practical Scandinavian design with robust construction, powered by a Volvo Penta D6-370 diesel engine rated at 370 horsepower. With only 755 engine hours logged, the engine has been serviced annually and paired with a Volvo Penta Duo Prop drive. The boat cruises at 26 knots and is equipped with a full suite of modern electronics including a Garmin GPSMAP 7412xsv chartplotter, GMR 18 HD 4 kW radar with 36-nautical-mile range, autopilot, and VHF with AIS.
Accommodations include two private cabins: a forward berth with a twin Vee setup and an aft queen berth accessed from the pilothouse. The galley features a Kenyon glass-top electric stove, stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, and a 42-liter refrigerator. The full head has standing room height, a vanity with pressurized water, and a separate shower enclosure. The pilothouse centers on twin captain's chairs with a U-shaped dinette that seats seven, a height-adjustable wooden table, and direct access to the aft cabin. Large windows and a three-section windshield provide excellent visibility.
The boat sleeps four comfortably and is fully equipped for single-handed operation. A full diesel furnace provides heating, and the electrical system includes a Victron smart charger-inverter, 300-ampere-hour lithium house battery, and 30-amp shore power. Outside, the extended cockpit seats eight with weather-resistant seating and ample storage beneath every seat. A non-skid swim platform with boarding ladder, hot and cold shower, and hinged cockpit floor with gas-strut assistance round out the features. New bottom paint was applied in February 2026.
