2018 Rand Picnic 18

The Rand Picnic 18 is an 18-foot fiberglass runabout built around Scandinavian design principles emphasizing simplicity and social boating. Powered by a Mercury F60 ELPT EFI outboard engine and carrying 44 liters of fuel, it weighs 860 pounds and draws just 7 inches, making it easy to transport and operate in shallow waters. The compact beam of just under 7 feet keeps the boat nimble and maneuverable.

The open layout centers on versatile seating, a teak picnic table with grab rails, and smooth circulation throughout the cockpit. U-shaped seating with cushions, pilot and passenger back rests, and a central table create an inviting space for gatherings. Storage compartments forward and aft provide practical stowage for gear.

Equipment includes a waterproof Bluetooth stereo system, faux teak decking in the cockpit and bathing platform, LED lighting both above and underwater, a swim ladder, sun sail, and watersports hooks. The aluminum steering console features a stainless steel wheel. Mooring cleats, fenders, an anchor with rope, navigation lights, and a boat cover complete the setup. The hull is finished in titanium gel coat with macadamia upholstery.
