The 2026 Vexus Defender 181 is an 18-foot aluminum runabout built for fishing, powered by a single 75-hp Mercury outboard. The boat features an all-welded, high-performance pad hull with a wide 7.8-foot beam that provides stability and a spacious, open deck layout. Storage is extensive, with weather-sealed compartments, an 8-foot rod box, and oversized rear lockers. The 26-gallon fuel tank supports the efficient outboard engine.
The boat carries two fishing wells: a front bow livewell and baitwell, and a tournament-grade rear well with divider and pump-out system. The helm is centered with smooth hydraulic steering and a remote throttle control, flanked by comfortable high-performance bucket seats and additional fishing seat bases across the front deck. Instrumentation includes speed, tach, fuel, and trim gauges.
Factory electronics and systems are comprehensive: a Minn Kota Edge 70 trolling motor, Humminbird Helix 5 fishfinder, integrated LED bow lights with removable stern navigation light, on-board battery charger, and LED under-console lighting. Bilge pump, horn assembly, and multiple USB and 12V outlets are installed throughout.
The boat comes with a custom-built Vexus trailer featuring a 3-inch channel frame, 13-inch aluminum wheels with radial tires, LED lighting with backup lights, and a swing-away tongue with jack.
