2018 Ranger Tugs R-29 CB

This 2018 Ranger Tugs R-29 Command Bridge is a fiberglass diesel trawler built for comfortable cruising and fishing. Powered by a single Volvo Penta D4 diesel engine rated at 300 horsepower, the boat cruises at around 15 knots with a top speed near 23 knots. The engine has just over 500 hours and was last serviced in January 2026. Bow and stern thrusters with remote controls provide precise maneuvering, while three separate helm stations—flybridge, interior, and cockpit—give flexibility for different operating conditions and fishing scenarios.

The layout centers on two cabins with one head. The forward master cabin features an off-center queen berth with good storage and opening hatches for ventilation. A wet head with electric toilet and shower sits to starboard. Below the salon settee lies additional sleeping space. The galley to port includes a gimbaled Force 10 propane stove and oven, stainless steel sink, and under-counter refrigerator with freezer. The main salon has a large convertible table and dual-purpose settees that transform into additional berths or helm seating.

The flybridge is a major feature, complete with a second helm station, seating for four, removable table, and a bimini top. The main interior helm has a stainless steel wheel and full Garmin navigation suite including a 12-inch chartplotter, 4 kilowatt radar, autopilot, and VHF with AIS. The cockpit includes a third helm option, rod holders, downrigger pads, and a raw water washdown. Foam decking in the cockpit and on the swim platform keeps things comfortable, while a Magma grill, hot and cold shower, and swim ladder add to the outdoor experience. The tender package includes a 9-foot 5-inch Ranger RIB with davit brackets and a 2.5 horsepower Yamaha outboard.

Systems include a Webasto diesel heater and separate electric heater, 220-watt solar panel, 2,000-watt inverter, and house battery bank replaced in December 2025. The boat comes equipped with a wine fridge, Jensen cabin television, Fusion stereo with Bluetooth and SiriusXM, and multiple interior and exterior speakers. A tender with outboard and propane grill round out the package.
