The 2018 Schionning G-FORCE 1500 C is a 53-foot fiberglass catamaran built in the Netherlands by PreCat VOF using vacuum-infused epoxy construction. Twin 58-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines power the boat. At her most recent haulout, she registered 8.4 metric tons—significantly lighter than comparable vessels of her size, achieved through strategic weight optimization including carbon fiber beams and davits.
The yacht accommodates three cabins and two heads. She carries a 2023 North Sails 3Di Endurance inventory with mainsail, genoa, and staysail. Navigation systems include B&G suite with H5000 autopilot. Power comes from a Victron lithium-ion battery bank paired with 2.2kW solar panels, supporting off-grid cruising alongside a Mabru 12V air-conditioning system. A 2024 Aqua-Base watermaker produces 17 gallons per hour with auto-flush capability.
The hull features extensions for improved hydrodynamics. Over recent seasons, the boat underwent an extensive program of engineering refinement and premium upgrades aimed at optimizing her for long-range cruising and shorthanded sailing operations.
