The 2018 Spirit C63 is a 63-foot wooden sailing yacht built by Spirit Yachts, combining handcrafted construction with modern sailing systems. Her hull employs Spirit's signature wood-epoxy composite method, offering lightweight strength paired with a fully custom carbon slab-reefing rig and carbon masts. She carries a substantial sail inventory including a fully battened OneSails mainsail, mizzen, mizzen staysail, 105% jib, furling asymmetric, and both symmetric and fractional spinnakers on a powered padeye. Three electric and five manual Lewmar winches manage the rig, supported by a Bartels electric headsail furling system and Nitronic rod rigging. A single 110 hp Yanmar diesel engine powers her at a cruising speed of 8 knots, with a maximum speed of 9 knots.
The interior centers on a generous main saloon with warm wooden finishes, featuring a U-shaped dining area seating six and two armchairs flanking a drinks cabinet. The deckhouse forward serves as a navigation hub and lounging space with large panoramic windows and port and starboard sofas. The three-cabin layout includes a forward owner's stateroom with double berth and en-suite bathroom, a portside guest cabin with double berth, and a starboard guest cabin with twin bunks; both guest cabins share an aft bathroom. The galley is fully equipped with gas oven and hob, fridge and freezer, double sink, and custom storage.
Electronics and systems reflect comprehensive offshore capability: dual Raymarine Hybrid Touch 9-inch and four ST70 displays, dual P70 autopilot controls, Raymarine VHF radio, and an Iridium satellite phone with Redbox router. Navigation includes a Ritchie 5-inch compass and 48-inch sipo mahogany wheel. Power comes from a Mastervolt charger-inverter, 400Ah battery bank at 24V, and Fischer Panda 15000i variable-speed generator. A 100-liter-per-hour watermaker, Webasto heating and air conditioning, and side-power bow thruster complete the systems. Deck equipment includes a Lewmar vertical windlass, 25kg Delta anchor with 100 meters of calibrated chain, and swim ladder. Comprehensive awnings cover the cockpit, full deck length, and mizzen; mainsail and mizzen covers with integrated zips protect the booms.
Completed dry dock service in September 2025 included anti-fouling and polishing, new battery bank, and engine service. The yacht carries a full complement of cruising and safety equipment.
