2019 Black Pepper Code 2.1

This 2019 Black Pepper Code 2.1 is a 57-foot offshore sailing yacht built in full carbon composite. Designed by Marc Lombard in collaboration with Armel Tripon, the boat draws inspiration from IMOCA 60 racing yachts and bridges the gap between competitive racing and fast cruising. The design incorporates a centerboard, water ballast system, and twin rudders, allowing for both high performance and practical handling in varied conditions.

The boat is equipped with a carbon fiber rig and a single diesel engine. The shallow-draft centerboard and ballast tank system provide flexibility for different sailing conditions and cruising grounds across both sides of the Atlantic. The rig plan is designed for straightforward management, making this a capable platform for extended offshore passages.
