2019 Custom Carolina Custom Express

This 28-foot Custom Carolina Express is a wood-planked sportfisher built in 2023 with classic Carolina design and modern systems. Twin Suzuki 300 HP outboards deliver 29-knot cruising and 45-knot top speed while burning just 19 gallons per hour. The boat carries 225 gallons of fuel and features joystick control with power steering for easy handling.

A custom Baush hardtop with telescoping outriggers and rod holders frames the fishing cockpit, which also includes teak covering boards with rod and drink holders, pop-up spring cleats, and a stainless steel windlass with built-in dive ladder. The cockpit has Deck-It style soft flooring, and there's a new custom enclosure with shade covers.

Below deck, the wood interior includes a queen-size berth with a cabin loveseat, freshwater head with 15-gallon holding tank, and 30-gallon freshwater tank. A 3-kilowatt generator supports onboard systems.

Electronics include Garmin autopilot, radar, GPS plotter, and VHF radio, plus a Fusion stereo system and custom breaker panel. The boat comes with a custom twin-axle trailer and has been stored indoors on a lift.
