2019 Custom Cat's Paw

This 2019 custom-built sailing and rowing dinghy combines traditional craftsmanship with practical design. The hull is constructed of white cedar over oak, with mahogany used for the seats, keel box, and transom. The Douglas fir mast reaches 11 feet 7 inches and includes supports to secure the rig when the boat is on its trailer.

The boat is rigged for gaff sailing with a sprit sail and comes equipped with a swing keel and transom-hung rudder for versatile water handling. A tiller with extension is included. For rowing, the boat has a set of Sawyer utility oars. The sailing kit arrives with a sail bag for storage and protection.

A 2004 Karavan model WC-1000-46 trailer is included, fitted with straps to secure the boat in place and mast supports for safe transport.
