This 2019 Peter Kerr Lizard is a 52-foot aluminium cruising catamaran designed for extended voyages and comfortable living aboard. Built in Western Australia, the yacht combines performance with spacious, well-appointed accommodation suited to family cruising or hosting guests.
The interior layout includes four cabins and two heads. Two master cabins feature walk-around beds with ensuite facilities, while two additional guest cabins provide flexibility for larger groups. The galley is well equipped with an electric stove, microwave, and generous refrigeration including a dedicated cockpit fridge—practical for extended passages and fishing trips. The open-plan saloon flows through double glass doors to a spacious cockpit, shaded by a large hardtop with custom pull-down screens for weather protection.
Self-sufficiency systems include a watermaker, solar panels, and lithium house batteries. Twin 75-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines with saildrives deliver a cruising speed of 6.5 knots and maximum speed of 9 knots. The sails and rigging date to 2020 and remain in good condition. An aluminium dinghy with 20-horsepower Honda outboard is launched via an electronic platform. The engines were serviced in March 2024 and have low running hours. The yacht has completed four northern voyages to the Kimberley region.
