The Astrea 42 is a 41-foot catamaran built by Fountaine Pajot with a fiberglass hull and twin 100-horsepower diesel engines. The design features an inverted bow that creates clean, dynamic lines while maximizing interior volume. The boat is laid out to allow unobstructed movement from the helm through the main cabin and out to the cockpit, with generous natural light throughout the interior spaces.

The accommodations include four cabins and four heads, with layout flexibility available in multiple configurations. The main saloon is lined with expansive windows and includes a U-shaped galley that opens directly to the cockpit via a sliding pocket door. The helm station sits on the coachroof with a double seat and adjacent sun lounger. The spacious cockpit is designed as a primary living area, with an optional integrated grill and optional Beach Club feature that adds an embedded gangway.
