2019 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40

The 2019 Lucia 40 is a fiberglass catamaran designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, bringing expansive cruising features into a compact 40-foot footprint. Twin Volva Penta diesel engines power the boat, which measures 38 feet in length with a 21.5-foot beam. The hull design emphasizes a fine entry for efficient sailing while maintaining the beam necessary for stability and interior volume. The semi-flybridge helm station positions the skipper to stay connected to the cockpit while maintaining clear visibility and keeping the boom manageable for sail handling.

The Quatuor four-cabin layout maximizes accommodation across both hulls. The port hull contains two double cabins with a shared head amidships; the starboard hull mirrors this configuration. The saloon features 360-degree panoramic windows and a skylight for natural light, L-shaped seating, a navigation station, and a convertible table that can serve as an additional double berth. A galley aft of the saloon, facing the cockpit, includes a three-burner stove, gas oven, and double stainless steel sinks. The boat has four heads total.
