The 2019 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 is a fiberglass catamaran with a beam of nearly 22 feet, designed for comfortable cruising and charter work. Twin 30 hp Volvo engines provide propulsion alongside a square-top mainsail and furling genoa. The deck is equipped with an electric windlass, bimini top, sprayhood, deck shower, and dual anchors with 3-blade propellers.
The accommodation layout includes four cabins with eight berths plus two additional berths in the saloon, served by four heads. A 220V electrical system with shore power connection, 1,200W inverter, and three batteries support onboard systems. The galley features an electric refrigerator, oven, and stove.
Navigation equipment includes a chartplotter GPS, echo sounder, electric autopilot, and Raymarine VHF radio with CD and USB capability. The boat carries manual and electric bilge pumps. Fuel capacity is 300 liters and freshwater capacity is 530 liters. R.I.N.A. certification is valid through 2027, with safety equipment certified for navigation beyond 12 nautical miles.
